Return and Refund Policy

As a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop at Morfars.com.

You are welcome to inspect the item, but you are liable for any diminished value if you use or handle it more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

This policy supplements our terms of sale and delivery.

1. The withdrawal period

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or another person chosen by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the item.

This may, for example, be the day on which:

  • the item is handed over to you
  • you collect the item from a parcel shop or parcel locker
  • the item is delivered to a person you have designated
  • the item is placed at an agreed location at your address

If items from the same order are delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which you receive the last item.

If an item consists of several parts or lots, the period runs from the day on which you receive the last part or the last lot.

If the period expires on a Saturday, public holiday, Danish Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, it is extended to the following business day.

2. How to withdraw

You must give us a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

The easiest way is to choose Cancel purchase at the bottom of Morfars.com and fill in the form.

When you use the digital function, you receive an electronic acknowledgement of your notification.

You may also write to:

MORFARS.DK ApS
Hørkær 30
2730 Herlev
Denmark
E-mail: support@morfars.com

You may also use the standard withdrawal form, which can be found at the bottom of our terms of sale and delivery. Using the form is not mandatory.

The withdrawal period is met if you send your notification before the period expires.

Refusing to accept the item or failing to collect the parcel does not in itself constitute a valid withdrawal. You must at the same time give us clear notice that you wish to withdraw.

3. Returning the item

Once you have notified us that you are withdrawing, the item must be sent or handed over without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification.

The item must be returned to:

MORFARS.DK ApS
Hørkær 30
2730 Herlev
Denmark

Items cannot be sent cash on delivery.

You bear the cost of returning the item when you exercise the right of withdrawal.

Through our return form you can in many cases purchase a prepaid return label. The price depends, among other things, on the country of delivery, the size of the parcel and the mode of transport, and is shown before you order the label.

The price of the return label is deducted from the amount to be refunded to you.

If we do not offer a return label for your address or item, you must yourself choose and pay for a suitable return method.

You bear the risk for the item until we receive it. Therefore, pack the item securely and keep the receipt and tracking number.

4. Refund

When you withdraw from the entire purchase, we refund the payments we have received from you, including the price of the cheapest standard delivery method we offered for the order.

If you have chosen a more expensive delivery method, we do not refund the difference between it and the cheapest standard delivery method.

If you only withdraw from part of an order, we generally do not refund the original delivery cost when the delivery price would have been the same for the items you keep.

We refund the amount without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal.

We may, however, withhold the refund until:

  • we have received the item back, or
  • you have provided documentation that the item has been returned

We generally use the same means of payment that you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

It may take a few banking days from our refund until the amount can be seen in your account. This processing time is determined by the bank and the payment provider.

5. The condition of the item and diminished value

You may inspect the item in the same way as would normally be possible in a physical store.

You are liable for the diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.

You do not automatically lose the right of withdrawal because the item has been used. However, we may deduct the documented diminished value from your refund.

For many of our hobby products, the following will normally go beyond an ordinary inspection:

  • outdoor driving, sailing or flying
  • driving or use that causes scratches, tyre wear, dirt or other signs of use
  • use in soil, sand, grass, water or snow
  • fitting of stickers or permanent parts
  • altering wiring, connectors, software or factory settings
  • charging and using batteries beyond a careful and necessary functional check
  • opening bags of small spare parts if the item can then no longer be sold as new
  • missing parts, accessories, tools or documentation

The diminished value is assessed on a case-by-case basis and may, in serious cases, amount to a large part of the item's price or the item's entire value if the item in reality no longer has any sales value.

6. Original packaging

You should return the item with the original packaging, inserts, bags, accessories, tools and documentation.

The packaging may be opened carefully.

Missing or damaged packaging does not automatically mean that you lose the right of withdrawal. It may, however, result in a diminished value if the packaging is significant for protecting the item or for the possibility of reselling it.

Do not use the product's original packaging as the only shipping packaging. Wrap it so that both the item and the packaging are protected during transport.

7. Items without an ordinary right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may, among other things, be excluded for items that are in fact manufactured, altered or adapted according to your individual specifications.

The fact that an ordinary standard item or spare part is specially ordered in for you does not in itself mean that the right of withdrawal lapses.

If an item is not covered by the ordinary right of withdrawal, you are clearly informed of this before you complete the purchase.

8. A complaint is something other than withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is used when you have changed your mind. The right to complain is used when you believe that there is a fault or defect in the item.

If you wish to complain, you must use our complaint form and contact us before you send the item.

If the complaint is justified, we pay the reasonable and necessary transport costs. We generally offer a prepaid return label or another suitable return method.

If, without prior written agreement, you choose a more expensive mode of transport than the one we have offered, we generally refund at most an amount corresponding to the price of the solution we offered.

If the examination shows that the problem is not covered by the right to complain, you may be charged the price of the return label used and the cost of sending the item back to you.

Any examination or repair fee is charged only if the amount has been stated and accepted before the examination or repair is carried out.

You can read the full rules on complaints, wear, incorrect use and repair in our terms of sale and delivery.

9. Questions about your return

If you have questions about a return or refund, you can contact us at support@morfars.com.

Please have your order number ready. It makes it easier for us to find the right order and prevents your return from ending up in the darkest corner of the spare-parts box.
