Description
Land and Sky Racer is the kind of remote-controlled toy that makes you stop and take a second look: first, it drifts across the floor like a little racer, then with the press of a button, it takes off like a drone. It’s made for beginners, with altitude hold and one-key takeoff and landing—and it comes in red.
In land mode, the rear propellers provide propulsion, so it can drive forward, reverse, turn and pull off little drifts on a smooth floor. Switch to flight mode, and you’ve got a little quadcopter with four propellers, LED lights, altitude hold and the ability to do flips. That’s two very different kinds of fun packed into one little machine.
Land and Sky Racer isn’t a car that can handle carpets, gravel or high edges, and it’s not a drone for windy weather either. It works best indoors on a clear, hard floor—or outdoors when it’s completely calm. That’s where it’s easiest to control and most fun to use.
The coolest things about Land and Sky Racer:
- 2-in-1—race across the floor or take to the skies like a drone
- Altitude hold, headless mode and one-key takeoff and landing
- Approx. 6 minutes of flight time or approx. 15 minutes of driving on a single charge
Easy to get airborne
Altitude hold helps the drone maintain its height, so you can focus on steering. One-key takeoff and landing make those first attempts easier to manage, while headless mode means it steers relative to the pilot rather than the drone’s nose. These are handy features, but you’ll still need plenty of space around you to practise.
Built for little stunts
Land and Sky Racer can do 360-degree flips in the air and quick turns on the floor. The propellers are protected by the frame, which is a plus when you’re learning. It’s still a lightweight machine with small parts, though, so avoid walls, furniture and hard crashes—and don’t push it around by hand.
Battery and charging
The included 3.7 V 600 mAh LiPo battery charges with the USB cable in about 60 minutes. Expect around 6 minutes of flight time or around 15 minutes of driving. The remote control takes 3 x AAA batteries, which are not included.
