A micro car that's actually fun to drive

We brought this car in because of its driving performance. It responds accurately to steering, and with three speed settings, you can choose whether to practice on a narrow track or push the pedal to the metal on an open floor. It's still a small remote-controlled toy car, but it feels much more controllable than many other micro cars.

Create a track and race together

Its small size makes it easy to turn the dining table, living room floor, or office into a racetrack. Use cups, books, or tape as turns and finish lines, and let everyone pick a color. With six colors, it's easy to distinguish the cars and start a whole mini race series. Both kids and adults can join in.

Metal body and fine details

The body is made of metal, giving the little pick-up a more finished look and a solid feel. The headlights, bed, chunky tires, and visible springs give it loads of character. However, the metal body doesn't make it invincible—the steering, suspension, and other parts are still small toy components that benefit from sensible handling.

Designed for indoor driving

The Mini RC Car Pick-up performs best on clean, hard surfaces like tables, wood, or laminate floors. It's not made for grass, gravel, water, or big jumps. The range is up to 10 meters, which is perfect for the smaller tracks this car is meant for.

The car has a built-in battery and charges directly via USB-C with the included cable. A full charge provides up to 15 minutes of driving time. The transmitter uses 2 x AA batteries, and you'll need your own USB-A adapter for the charging cable.

If you want the same type of compact car with a camera and screen in the transmitter, check out the FPV Desk Racer. The Mini RC Car Pick-up doesn't have a camera—here, the focus is on precise steering, the metal body, and loads of racing fun for your money. Also, check out all our mini remote-controlled cars.

Tips from the Workshop

We mainly brought this car in because it drives really well. The steering is precise, and the three speed levels make a real difference when the track gets narrow. It's one of those little cars that quickly makes you want to set up a few obstacles and go for another round.

You get plenty of driving fun and a great metal look for your money. It's especially cool if you buy several and race together. Just remember, it's still a 9 cm long toy car with small parts. Use it on clean, solid surfaces, and avoid hard crashes, big jumps, dirt, and water.
