It sits lower than a monster truck, features four-wheel drive, and is made for those who crave a fast 1:10 car that's sharp on asphalt yet eager for gravel and dirt. On a 3S LiPo, it can hit up to 80 km/h – but it's already a blast on 2S.

The essence of the Rustler: its low, wide stance encourages you to push the throttle a bit longer through turns. Sledgehammer ST tires, GTR shocks, and 4x4 traction ensure a solid grip when the ground gets loose, while maintaining precision on firm surfaces.

Extreme Heavy Duty components, a metal gear servo, oil-filled differentials, and a torque-biasing center drivetrain come standard. It's a thorough build for a speedy 1:10 car, but with speed comes responsibility. 3S is for the experienced driver who has space, and Training Mode can limit the top speed to 50% initially.

The clipless body quickly removes for battery changes. The electronics are water-protected for wet weather and surfaces, but the car shouldn't be submerged. Dry and maintain the car after wet runs.

What's new with VX3?

The VX3 system includes a Velineon V3200 brushless motor, cooling fan, and a speed controller with three driving programs. Sport Mode offers forward, brake, and reverse. Race Mode has forward and brake, while Training Mode limits both forward and reverse to 50%. Start with 2S and Training Mode to get familiar with the car.

The TQi Sport remote features Traxxas Stability Management - TSM. It helps keep the car steady during acceleration and braking, especially when traction is low. It's an aid, not a replacement for space and control on the throttle. The remote uses 4 x AA batteries.
