Brushless speed on the water

The brushless motor is what makes Streamer especially exciting. It delivers lively acceleration and sends the boat skimming across the water at up to 35 km/h. Combined with its sleek speedboat hull, you get a boat that looks fast and delivers the speed to match.

Water cooling and self-righting

The motor is water-cooled while the boat is sailing. That’s a handy feature on a fast boat where the motor has to work hard. If Streamer capsizes, the self-righting function can help it get back upright. It’s a great safety feature on the water, but you should still only sail the boat somewhere you can retrieve it if the battery runs out or it gets stuck.

Needs plenty of space and calm freshwater

35 km/h is fast on the water, so Streamer is best suited to a lake or larger pond, with plenty of distance from people, animals, other boats and the shore. Avoid reeds, weeds and floating branches, which could get caught in the propeller or block the water cooling. Don’t sail in saltwater, strong currents or large waves.

Water-resistant — not waterproof

The double hatch helps keep water away from the electronics, but the boat isn’t designed to be submerged. Always check that the hatches are properly secured before putting the boat in the water. After each trip, open the boat, remove the battery and let both the hull and electronics dry completely.

Battery and charging

The included 11.1 V 2000 mAh battery provides around 12–15 minutes of sailing time and takes up to 3 hours to charge with the USB charger. The range is up to 100 metres in good conditions. The remote control requires 4 x AA batteries, which are sold separately.

Battery and charger

Streamer comes with a rechargeable 11.1 V 2000 mAh battery and a USB charger. The battery provides around 12–15 minutes of sailing time and takes up to 3 hours to charge. The remote control uses 4 x AA batteries, which must be purchased separately. A USB wall adapter is not included.

Always remove the battery from the boat before charging, and let it cool down after sailing. Charge it on a fireproof surface while supervised, and don’t store the battery fully charged for an extended period.

Workshop Tips

Streamer hits a really appealing sweet spot: it’s compact enough to take along easily, while its brushless motor delivers real speed on the water. The self-righting feature is a great help, and overall, you get a lot of technology and fun on the water for your money. We recommend it if you have access to a calm lake or a larger pond—a small garden pond or swimming pool is simply too small for 35 km/h.

Always remove the battery and dry the boat inside and out after use. Also check the propeller and water intake for weeds and small branches. The double hatch provides good protection against splashes, but it doesn’t make the boat waterproof. Use it only in fresh water, and only somewhere you can retrieve it.
