Description
The Huina Scania 770S with Trailer 1:18 is made for the part of the construction site where the load actually needs to get where it’s going. The detailed Scania tractor unit is paired with a long flatbed trailer, and together they measure over a meter long. Suddenly, you’ve got a proper job on your hands: backing up to the ramp, hooking up and getting the cargo safely on its way.
The Truck has proportional throttle and steering, so you can take those gentle turns and practise the tricky reversing maneuvers. Both rear axles are driven, while the turn signals, reversing lights and engine sound give every trip that authentic truck feel. The trailer has electric support legs and an electric tailgate—small features that make loading and unloading something you’ll actually want to do again.
This isn’t a fast remote-controlled car. It’s a large, detailed truck for anyone who thinks the best part is planning the route, getting the trailer around the bend and lining everything up neatly at the ramp. It works best on a firm, level surface with plenty of room to turn and reverse.
The coolest things about the Huina Scania 770S with Trailer:
- Complete Scania 770S tractor unit and electric flatbed trailer in 1:18 scale
- 19-channel control with proportional throttle, steering, lights and sound
- Electric support legs and tailgate on the trailer
A truck with a proper job to do
It’s the trailer’s features that make this set special. Lower the support legs, open the tailgate and load light items onto the bed before heading to the construction site. The trailer is made for smaller models, pallets and light construction-site gear—it’s not designed to transport large 1:14 machines like the Huina Excavator 1:14.
Details that make a difference
The Scania 770S is officially licensed and features great scale details like mirrors, tanks, toolboxes and rubber tires. The lights respond to the way you drive, with turn signals when steering and reversing lights when you shift into reverse. That makes it extra fun to drive—and to display between trips.
Battery and charging
The set includes rechargeable batteries for both the Truck and trailer, as well as USB charging cables. The Truck uses a 7.4V battery, while the trailer has a 3.7V 500 mAh battery. You’ll need 4 x AA batteries for the remote control.
Tips from the workshop
Find a large, level area before hooking up the trailer for the first time. Practise gentle turns and reversing without a load so you can get a feel for the length of the set. Don’t drive over high edges with the trailer attached, and don’t put heavy loads on the tailgate or support legs—that way, you’ll get the most out of the electric features.
