Volcano was an amazing RC car! It featured rear-wheel drive, a steel transmission, and the car itself was made from soft yet durable plastic.

When Volcano first hit our shelves, it quickly became a favorite. In fact, it got so popular that a limited edition was launched featuring special colors, adjustable top speed directly from the transmitter, and a metal gears servo for extra durability!

Product Description of Volcano XP4

Volcano XP4 is a powerful remote-controlled monster truck with extra large wheels, long oil shocks, and waterproof electronics - the toughest RC car under $1500!

The powerful motor sends all the juice to the rear wheels, and the wheelie bar ensures you don’t flip over when tackling rugged terrain! The high ground clearance and strong drivetrain make Volcano XP4 perfect for lawn driving.

The electronics in Volcano XP4 are waterproof under normal use but cannot be submerged in water. Maintenance is required to keep it waterproof.

The car is fully assembled and ready-to-run. It comes with a 2.4GHz radio system, battery pack, and charger. You’ll only need 4 x AA batteries for the transmitter to pop wheelies!

Battery and Charger

Volcano XP4 comes with a battery pack and charger.

  • The battery pack is 7.2V NiMH 2000mAh with Tamiya connector
  • Standard 220V charger (a bit slow)

Get longer run times and shorter charge times - we recommend:

Volcano XP4 CANNOT run on Lithium batteries.

Volcano XP4 is awesome! It's super fun to drive and the combination of big wheels, extra-long shocks, and rear-wheel drive is spot on!

Many people ask for a good car for driving on the lawn... go for the XP4 - it's perfect for grass and now it's waterproof too!! Volcano XP4 is one of the most durable cars we have - it can easily be compared to models up to 2500!

Your first upgrade should be a faster charger and then a larger battery pack - so you spend less time charging and can drive longer.
